William Shakespeare's Othello at Usine-c

The story of Othello by William Shakespeare, is that of a black war colonel general in Venice, who married the beautiful Desdemone. Othello was manipulated by some of his soldiers and obsessed by jalousie. Eventually he killed his wife. The stage design by Denis Marleau was very clean: Three mobile walls and a few props. Sometimes text was screened on these walls containing information about act and locations and some thoughts of the characters. Some sounds were played to emphasize exciting moments. The performers where not in a hidden spot, they were waiting for their turn sitting on chairs right around the stage.
