Mois de la Photo 2007 in Montreal

The Mois de la Photo, which has been going on in Montreal from 6 september to 21 october 2007, had this year the title 'Replaying Narrative'. On September 15, 2007, I saw a screening of three of Eija-Eliisa Ahtila's movies. At Dazibao Bettina Hoffmann showed her video work.

At Parisian Laundry, a beautiful loft gallery near Metro Lionel Groulx, Montreal, I saw the photography show of Carlos and Jason Sanchez, Trine Sondergaard and Nicolai Howalt,who showed the series 'how to hunt'. Eve Susman and the Rufus Corporation. A documentation of exterior interventions by Thomas Kneubuehler showing security guards in their work environments as well as a collection of security cameras was showcased as well.

At 'Espaces Video' of the 'Mois de la Photo' I saw a video by Mike Hoolboom, Jesper Just, Althea Thauberger, Salla Tykkae, Teresa Hubbard and Alexander Birchler.
